Gevrey Chambertin The Domaine Rebourseau is located in the centre of Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits. It was General Henri Rebourseau in 1919 who grouped together all the family vineyards into a single estate, thus giving rise to the current Rebourseau property. In 1949, his son Pierre joined the management and in 1980 he entrusted the estate to his grandson, Mr Jean de Surrel. Jean turned the estate's history around by adopting reasoned, organic viticulture combined with biodynamic practices. The company owns 13 hectares of 'Pinot Noir' that ensure a production of authentic quality representative of its appellations among the most prestigious in Burgundy: Chambertin Grand Cru, Mazy Chambertin Grand Cru, Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru; in addition, the estate owns 2.3 hectares in the heart of Grand Cru Clos De Vougeot. The wines obtained are of great finesse and are considered among the longest-lived in Burgundy.
