Tarquina, Lazio Etruscaia was founded in 2008 with the decision to devote to a commercial activity the fruits of many years of amateur amateur work in the production of wine grapes and in the selective vinification aimed at the search for excellence in the production of white, red and rosé wines obtained from the various grape varieties present in their soils. The Etruscaia vineyards, in fact, are the result of an experimental project carried out in collaboration with the University of Pisa that has planted various clones of wine grapes, both white and red, and analysed the individual specificities of each clone both in the vegetative yield and in the subsequent vinification. The lush harvest of the year 2004 gave unequivocal proof of the extraordinary potential of the soils both in terms of production capacity and the high oenological yield quality of some of the vines planted.
