Kojsko, Brda, Slovenia The Stekar family has been making wine since the end of the 17th century, and Janko is the latest generation of the family, carrying on centuries-old traditions with his partner Tamara. The estate consists of 5 hectares on ponca-rich land, cultivated in a natural way, with organic treatments and macerated plants offered by the rich biodiversity of Brda. In the cellar, too, their philosophy is sparingly interventionist, using indigenous yeasts, resulting in spontaneous fermentation and homeopathic doses, when necessary, of pre-bottling sulphur dioxide.
