Italian wine cellars
Here are some of the Italian companies we recommend
Wine cellars of Lazio
Starting from Lazio, the region of the writer, a Roman DOCG, we point out Ant Hilla company where wine has been produced for over 120 years, but only tagged the first time in 2018. Just below, in the Ardea area, the talented Riccardo Raparelli will amaze you with its organic wines. Nearby I Beans of Ardea, a biodynamic winery with the dream of bringing Bordeaux on the southern outskirts of Rome, a stone's throw from Tirreno. Not far away, in the Piglio area, there is another recently established company, Marco Falconefor an unparalleled declination of Cesanese.
Ciociaria is a magical area for wine production, and here we would like to point out two great wineries, the pride of regional wine production, biodynamic and absolutely indigenous, such as D.S.Bio e Tronconi Palace. Finally, in the north, in the province of Viterbo, do not try the wines of Beatrice Arweiler, Yellow Crowit would be a shame
Abruzzo wineries
In Abruzzo we would like to point out two truly excellent wine cellars, Mormaj e Marchioli. The first natural wine producer, the second certified organic. Francesco and Gianluca are two great people, and they produce very good wines, in an area that is not always easy.
Tuscan Wineries
In the province of Florence, in Vinci, the city of the great Leonardo, we have Falzari Winesand biodynamic in their souls, and great producers of amphora wine. Further south, in Civitella in Val di Chiana (AR), we find San FerdinandoThis is a natural winery that loves to experiment and which we recommend for its great value for money. From Arezzo to Grosseto is a short step, and in this area, in Roccatederighi, the great Pierpaolo gives life to his natural masterpieces, Big Oak produces fantastic wines. Finally, 6km from the Tyrrhenian Sea and 8km from Bolgheri, in Cecina, we recommend Agrihotel Elisabettaan enchanted logo where the great international grape varieties express themselves at the highest level.
Piedmontese Wineries
Further north, we arrive in Piedmont where a visit to the Rosanna Sandri is absolutely recommended. We are located in Treiso, in the Langhe and here it is the Barbaresco. The company also produces Barbera and Arneis. They are the only ones in Piedmont to have the VIVA certification, due to their great attention to sustainability. A few kilometres further on, we arrive at Diano d'Alba, where the Claudio Alarioproducers for 3 generations of Barolo and Dolcetto, with a decidedly natural idea of wine.
South of Rome
Returning to Rome for a short break to the sound of Carbonara and Frascati SuperioreWe set off again towards the south, where the Campagna awaits us. The wine cellars of Campania are not looking elsewhere for varieties to be exploited in the region, they can draw on a crazy multitude of indigenous grape varieties. In the Falerno area, near the Roccamonfina volcano we immediately come across EnozRoberto Zeno's biodynamic winery with a passion for amphorae and psychedelic labels. Even further south, you arrive at the slopes of Vesuvius, where Giovanni Russo, of Vesuvius wineriesa hymn to the great wine of Campania and to the Piennolo tomatocertified organic. From Naples to Avellino is a short step and here, a visit to the Winery Antonio Napolitano is a must. Wonderful labels lead the way to typical local wines, produced with knowledge and love.
