Tekov, Slovakia Marvla TINDO is the acronym for the breakdown of the names of the two founding partners, Martin and Vlado. Brainy, like their wines, the duo is on a perpetual quest for experimentation while maintaining an absolutely traditional approach in the vineyard, without the use of chemicals and vinifying only indigenous varieties. We are in the Tekov region of Slovakia, on the slopes of the extinct Sitno volcano. The great minerality that the volcano imparts to the soil is reflected in their wines, which are absurdly elegant. Only a few hectares are planted with vines, so far, but there is a great ambition to export wine Slovakia around the world.
