The Melsheimers have been producing Riesling for five generations, and they do so on the steep slopes surrounding the village of Rein an der Mosel, in Mosel, with an approach that has always been environmentally sustainable. The company has been certified organic since 1995, since 2013 it has been certified as a biodynamic company by Demeter. Melsheimer's vineyards are located on the steepest hills of the Mosel, where Riesling has found a home for centuries. We are talking about the famous Mosel Rieslings, of which Melsheimer is a proud witness. Melsheimer's wines bear witness to the differences between the different micro-zones of production, the different composition of the soil, the exposure, the conformation of the vineyard.
