Chateau Moulin de La Rose

Saint Julien, Bordeaux The name of the winery comes from the former presence of a mill in the area, and from the name, Chavalier LaRose, of the then owner of the nearby Chateau Gruaud Rose in the 18th century. In 1971, the Chateau was bought by Guy Delon and is now run by his two sons, Jean Francois and Guylene. It has 5 hectares under vine, which earned it the nickname of the Lilliputian of Saint Julien, surrounded as it is by Grand Cru Classes. It is said to have the best gravelly parcels in the whole territory. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are grown here naturally and biodynamically. The estate's wines are generous and tannic, fine and elegant
