Pavlov, Czech Republic The company was born in 2016 out of the desire of two friends, Dominika and Ivo, to produce their own wine to label. Plener covers 5 hectares on the Pavlov Plateau in Moravia, in an area with an ancient wine tradition, much closer to Vienna than to Prague. The soil is calcareous clay and the climate is moderately warm and dry, thanks in part to the winds from the nearby Pannonian Plain, which crosses seven countries.
