It comes from ancient vineyards, ferments in steel at a controlled temperature, then macerates for 20 to 50 days depending on the vintage. The aging takes place in large barrels and used tonneaux.
Pink and purple, lots of red fruits, mineral notes of graphite and several typical vinous hints
Very full-bodied and warm to the mouth, soft and elegant, but with great freshness and drinkability, the tannin stays on its own and the finish is long
Serving temperature 18°-22°
Typical Piedmontese cheeses: Gorgonzola, Bross, Toma and Raschera
Soft but with attributes
Roddi (Cuneo)
Gianluca Colombo began as a consultant winemaker for various wineries in the Langhe. In 2011 his first bet was Segni di Langa, followed in 2014 by the Gambelli prize as best young Italian winemaker.
Gianluca is a volcanic producer, just taste his wines.
The company’s watchword is experimentation, towards a well-defined, elegant, juicy, pure style.
