Helios, from selected native white grapes
Manual harvest on the first of September, destemming, vinification in thermo-controlled steel, with soft pressing of the grapes, cold bottling. It comes from vineyards over 30 years old with yields of 40 quintals/ha. Intense and persistent nose with fruity notes of peach and tropical fruit, then Mimosa and Ginestra which precede a finish characterized by aromatic herbs. In the mouth it is balanced, mineral and persistent.
Galante, from selected native white grapes
Manual harvesting in the last ten days of October, destemming, vinification in thermo-conditioned steel, with soft pressing of the grapes, cold bottling, and refinement in the bottle for one year. Age of the vineyards 30 years, yield 30 Ql/Ha. Acacia honey, yellow pulp fruit and aromatic herbs on the nose. In the mouth it has a sweet tendency, with a savory and mineral vein on the finish.
Balente, from rigorously selected native red grapes
Manual harvest in the first ten days of October, destemming, red vinification with traditional punching on the skins, maceration at a controlled temperature between 25 and 28 degrees, cold bottling and refinement in the bottle for at least one year. It comes from vineyards with a magnificent age of 80 years with a yield of 80 Ql/Ha. Intense bouquet that recalls variations of red fruits, floral notes such as violet and rose, with mineral and spicy returns. Robust when tasted where it denotes alcohol, freshness and vigorous tannins. Long finish.
Balente Superiore, Bovale Sardo (Mristellu), Cannonau, Uva Monica
Manual harvest in the first ten days of October, destemming, red vinification with traditional punching on the skins, maceration at a controlled temperature between 25 and 28 degrees, then 12 months in steel, 24 in 225 liter barrels and further refinement in the bottle. It comes from vineyards with a magnificent age of 80 years with a yield of 80 Ql/Ha. On the nose, pleasant notes of fruit jam, sweet spices and Mediterranean herbs. In the mouth it is powerful, structured with vigorous tannins. Persistent with hints of fruit and spices
Mas Balente, from rigorously selected native red grapes
It comes from vineyards that are even 100 years old with an average yield of 50 Ql/Ha, the harvest takes place manually in boxes with careful selection of the best bunches. The grapes are quickly taken to the cellar where they are separately subjected to pressing with the skins subsequently remaining in contact with the must for approximately 21 days in stainless steel vats, with frequent pumping over and delestages. At the end of the fermentation processes, the wine is placed in oak barriques to complete the refinement before being bottled. Fruit of grapes that grow only in Mandrilosai this is a unique wine.
Pin-8, from rigorously selected native red grapes
It comes from 30-year-old vineyards with a very low yield (20 Ql/Ha) and is harvested raisin in the last ten days of October, followed by destemming, vinification in thermo-controlled steel, with soft pressing of the grapes, cold bottling. Intense bouquet of red fruits and figs, of Mediterranean scrub, in the mouth it is soft and warm, discreetly fresh and tannic. Round on the palate and persistent.
