🍇 Nebbiolo

🌡️ 14.5%

  🍷 Red Wine

🛁  The Nebbiolo grapes come from three different vineyards in La Morra, all located on clayey-calcareous soil, two-week maceration with fermentation in stainless steel, ageing for 24 months in oak barriques, then 6 months in the bottle before marketing

👃🏻 Jammy red fruits and rose petal notes, hints of tar, leather and graphite that tend to evolve over time

👅 The taste is fresh and crisp, the structure balanced and the tannins dense and fine, the finish long and persistent

👍🏻 Serving temperature 18°-20°.

💕 Tajarin with Alba Truffle

😍 So much wisdom in this Barolo

La Morra, Langhe

The company, founded in 1959, is run today by Andrea Oberto, the founder's son. There are 14 hectares of vineyards.
Over the years, the passion that Andrea puts into his business has not changed: while other producers have preferred to
delegating work in the vineyards, he remained faithful to the countryside by continuing to bend his back on the land
with the same enthusiasm as in the past. The vineyards are located in the municipalities of La Morra, Barolo and Cherasco.
The flagship of the entire production is Barolo Rocche, obtained from the Rocche dell'Annunziata vineyard in La
Morra. Barolo Albarella, which comes from a vineyard in Barolo, is perhaps less well known, but it is certainly not
less important than the former. The company is very fond of Barbera d'Alba Giada because since 1988, the first
year of vinification, has achieved great success and won the approval of many consumers. The
range of wines continues with two Dolcetti, two Barbere and one Nebbiolo. The new wine cellar is located on the road
provincial road leading to Verduno: its construction began in 2000 and was completed in 2003 and represents
all the sacrifices and investments the company has made in recent years. Langhe, from the Latin linguae (languages),
according to the most accredited hypotheses of historians. And as neatly interwoven tongues of land appear the
sinuous hills from the top of the village of La Morra, one of the most vocated centres for the production of Barolo, a few
kilometres from Alba (Cuneo), in the heart of Piedmont. At an altitude of 513 metres, La Morra retains the charm
of medieval origin and an enormous wine-growing heritage, diversified from slope to slope and with
a consequent exceptional organoleptic variety between wines of the same type.
The estate's vineyards, trained by the Guyot system on mainly limestone-clay soil, are located in the La Morra area,
Barolo and Cherasco.
