From vines over 40 years old on volcanic soil,  the grapes are harvested by hand and not pressed. Maceration for 4 weeks and maturation in barrels of different sizes for 18 months.

We are located in the south-west of France, bordered to the north by the Bordeaux vineyards and to the south by the Pyrenees. Domaine Arretxea is a historic winery that produces wine using the area’s native vines, many of which are absolutely unique. The winery extends over 8.5 hectares of vineyards, grown biodynamically for many years now.

The owners are Michel and Thérèse Riouspeyrous, lovers of the territory, tradition and the environment.

The wines produced are authentic, suitable for any palate, expressive and unique
