From native yeasts and spontaneous fermentation, macerates for 4/5 weeks with repeated pigeages. Subsequently it ages in wood with prolonged contact on the yeasts. Finally, bottle for at least 6 months. Clean and defined nose, red fruits and cedar accompanied by mentholated exhalations.

We are located in the south-west of France, bordered to the north by the Bordeaux vineyards and to the south by the Pyrenees. Domaine Arretxea is a historic winery that produces wine using the area’s native vines, many of which are absolutely unique. The winery extends over 8.5 hectares of vineyards, grown biodynamically for many years now.
The owners are Michel and Thérèse Riouspeyrous, lovers of the territory, tradition and the environment.
