Barat is a white wine made from the very rare Bratuciat grapes, produced by Iuli in Montaldo di Cellina, Piedmont. The grapes come from clayey-calcareous soils at an altitude of 250 metres, fermented slowly in a spontaneous manner with indigenous yeasts and then refined in cement for 12 months, finally bottled without filtration or clarification. Citrusy and floral, with hints of dried fruit on the nose, it is fresh, savoury and juicy on the palate. It may remind us of Riesling and this really surprised us, we would gladly pair it with a sea bream

🛁 The grapes come from a north-facing vineyard on clay and limestone soil at 250 m above sea level. Harvested the first week of September, they ferment spontaneously and very slowly (until the beginning of February) after a night in the cold and then stay 12 months in cement. No clarification or filtration.

👃🏻 Notes of Citrus and White Flowers, Hazelnuts and Pine Nuts

👅 Fresh, juicy, savoury taste with perfectly integrated alcohol

👍🏻 Serving temperature 10°-12°.

💕 It goes wonderfully with canapés and also with delicate fish such as sea bream.

😍 This is an indigenous vine from Monferrato which has been practically forgotten but which, in our opinion, is also reminiscent in some ways of Riesling. Surprising!
