If Cote du Py is the magic hill of Morgon, this wine is its most extreme exaltation. 3.14 is in fact the cuvée that comes exclusively from the old vines, on soil with a prevalence of decomposing schist and manganese. Carbonic maceration and subsequent maturation in wooden barrels without added sulfur, for a period ranging from 6 to 9 months, leading to one of the most sensational and bewitching results of all Beaujolais.

Jean began running the family business in 1982 after purchasing a home at the famous Cote du Py, an extinct volcano that represents a territory with unique characteristics in the world.
Morgon is one of the 10 Cru of Beaujolaison the west bank of the Seine.
He immediately revolutionized the company by breaking away from the stereotype of Beaujolais, which was on the market in those years and was produced by his colleagues. Over the years Foillard has become a point of reference in the world of making these wines.
