Rosso Montefalco Pomontino is a red wine produced by Tenuta Bellafonte in Torre del Colle, in the Montefalco area. It is obtained from Sangiovese and Sagrantino grapes vinified entirely in whole bunch cement. It is a fresh wine rich in nuances, with well-calibrated tannins and a slender, round body. The nose reveals a lot of ripe red fruit with hints of undergrowth and humus. Rosso Montefalco Pomontino is an exceptional wine paired with a crouton of bread and chicken livers.

Tenuta Bellafonte is located near Bevagna, in the uncontaminated heart of Umbria, near the village of Torre del Colle. The vineyards are located at a height varying between 260 and 320 meters above sea level. and are built on rocky terrain in which clay alternates with marly and arenaceous formations. Incredible to think that 2008 is only the first year of production of this beautiful Umbrian reality.
