🛁 The grapes come from a vineyard on clay-limestone soils, fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts, the grapes macerate whole clusters in steel before ageing in oak barrels for a year and in bottles for 6 months, with no sulphites added
👃🏻 Lavender and violet petals, berries, hints of minerals and wet leaves, humus and herbaceous returns, light dark spice
👅 Pinot Noir with the body you expect, the drinkability is superlative, aided by plenty of freshness and a tannic texture that is not over-emphasised, savoury and exuberant

After much wandering, from California to Catalunya, from Alsace to Burgundy, Benoit finally found a home in Carcot, a stone's throw from Chalon sur Saone, on the road leading to the temple of wine, Beaune.
These experiences shaped him and also enabled him to understand how the world of wine is changing and especially the direction it has taken, namely the virtuous one of natural viticulture and winemaking, without chemical additives and with great respect for the land.
Wines of character are born in the purest Burgundy tradition, ready to amaze.
Benoit's production is absolutely artisanal, amounting to only a few thousand bottles produced per year.
