Guado al Tasso 2009 Antinori

Guado al Tasso is a great Italian red wine produced by Antinori from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and very small quantities of Petit Verdot grapes, harvested manually. These grapes macerate for a long time and then refine for 18 months in barrique, and finally in the bottle to rest before being put on the market. The nose is complex with salty and spicy, woody and undergrowth scents, in the mouth it is powerful and elegant, long and silky. Try Guado al Tasso with stracotto or with a nice Florentine steak.
