The grapes come from vines that are up to 80 years old, on clayey, tuff-limestone soil, they macerate on the skins for up to 16 hours. The refinement takes place in steel for 6 months

Floral with hints of citrus and berries, especially raspberries, iodine and mineral notes

Fresh and tasty on the palate, elegant and mineral, the body is medium, the tannins are polite and the finish is persistent

Faro is a micro-denomination with just 25 hectares and only 5 producers.

Giovanni Scarfone di Bonavita is one of them, a young micro-viticulturist born in 1980, first harvest in 2006, and in this area he owns 7 hectares of which only 2.30 are under vines, the rest are destined for olive groves and woods.
