Bonavita Rosato Magnum is a rosé wine produced by Bonavita in Faro Superiore, in the province of Messina, and obtained from Nerello, Mascalese and Cappuccio, and Nocera grapes, harvested manually. The grapes are located on clay-limestone soil and come from 80-year-old plants. Native yeasts and maceration on the skins for approximately 16 hours and aging in steel for 6 months. A riot of Mediterranean scrub with hints of oregano and rosemary, citrus and red fruit notes, floral and iodine on the nose, Bonavita Rosato is fresh and mineral in the mouth, savory and medium-bodied, also ideal for tasting local raw ham

The grapes come from vines that are up to 80 years old, on clayey, tuff-limestone soil, they macerate on the skins for up to 16 hours. The refinement takes place in steel for 6 months

Faro is a micro-denomination with just 25 hectares and only 5 producers.
Giovanni Scarfone di Bonavita is one of them, a young micro-viticulturist born in 1980, first harvest in 2006, and in this area he owns 7 hectares of which only 2.30 are under vines, the rest are destined for olive groves and woods.
The strange thing is that in this area threatened by concrete, everything tells you about Sicily.
