Bressan Schioppettino 2018

Schioppettino is a red wine produced by Bressan in Farra d’Isonzo, in Friuli and obtained from 100% Schioppettino grapes. The harvest is manual, long maceration on the skins with spontaneous fermentation using native yeasts; once drawn off, fermentation for approximately 35 days in steel, and aging in 20 hl wood for 5 years. It then rests in the bottle for a few months before being put on the market. Schioppettino is a full-bodied but agile wine, soft and long, with hints of blackberry fruits and dark spices, woodland and undergrowth. Try it with game-based dishes!
