Caparzo is one of the historic wineries of Montalcino, founded in 1970 by a group of friends passionate about Tuscany and wine. Being one of the top 12 wineries in Montalcino, Caparzo contributed significantly to the creation of the myth of Brunello di Montalcino.
In 1977, Caparzo introduced the concept of “cru” in the Montalcino area, vinifying grapes from different geographical areas of the production area. This choice allowed us to make the most of the different microclimates and terroirs present in Montalcino, creating a complex wine that combines the characteristics that have made Brunello one of the most appreciated wines in the world.

The Caparzo Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Vigna la Casa is an oenological jewel of Montalcino, produced for the first time in 1977. The La Casa vineyard is located on the Montosoli hill, at 275 meters above sea level, with clay-schist soil and excellent south-east exposure. The winemaking involves alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature, followed by aging in wood for at least 2 years and subsequent aging in the bottle for at least 4 months.
Brunello di Montalcino Vigna La Casa is a wine of great elegance, with a ruby red color and a scent of berries, spices and vanilla. Its flavor is dry, warm, balanced and persistent, perfect for accompanying roasts, grilled meats and mature cheeses. We recommend serving it at 18°C, after uncorking it 1-2 hours before.
