Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration for a week in steel, subsequent refinement in cement and oak vats for 8 months. Burja Bela has a mineral nose that expresses aromatic herbs and notes of citrus and ripe fruit, in the mouth it is full and tasty, fresh and long. Try it with a cream of potatoes and seared leeks!

Grapes that come from two different vineyards: Ravno brdo and Ostri vrh. The first rests on a layer of harder and more resistant sandstone, richer in calcium carbonate even on the surface, while in the second sandstone and marl alternate. All the vines ferment together on the skins for a week. Refines for 8 months in cement and oak vats.
Rocky nose, in the sense that you can feel all the pleasantness of the Marnico territory, therefore very mineral, with aromatic hints, white flowers and ripe fruit, including citrus fruits. Slightly spicy
A fabulous taste that plays on the balance between freshness and flavor, the mouth is full, elegant and aromatic, the sip is long
Serving temperature 10°-12°
Cream of potatoes and leeks, vegetables in batter
A taste with a WOW effect
Podnanos, Vipava Valley, Slovenia
The Lavrencic family has been producing wine since 1499, and now it is up to Primoz, the latest generation to carry on the family tradition. He does it in a way that he defines as modern and traditional, concepts that for him coincide.
Burja climbs between wind and rock, and sets some production rules that cannot be derogated from:
- Plant integrity, rather than intervention
- Respect for local varieties
- Promote vineyard biodiversity
- Poor control in production processes
Primoz has a dream, which is becoming reality thanks to the contribution of many local winemakers, that of making the whole world know and appreciate the Terroir of the Vipava Valley, capable of offering absolute pearls.
Like the ones that Primoz produces!
