🛁 The grapes macerate for about 30 days in cement, then age for 12 months in used barriques and tonneaux and then return to cement for a further 6 months

👅 Full-bodied, powerful and savoury on the palate, the tannin is talented and the finish long

Panzano in Chianti, Italy
Candialle is a magnificent 12-hectare estate in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. The views are breathtaking, as are the wines that Josephin and Jarkko are able to give us.
The two owners are German and Finnish respectively and took the reins of Candialle in 2002, in love with Italy and Panzano (how can you blame them?!).
The approach is absolutely respectful of the environment and the end customer, organic in the vineyard and without adulteration in the cellar, the winery's production is identified in the parcellar microvinifications and the almost maniacal attention to the vineyard and its ecosystem, that of the Conca d'Oro, a unique place in the world.
