Barbaresco Riserva Rosa delle Casasse is a red wine produced by Cascina Baricchi in Naviglie, in the Langhe and obtained from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. These come from plots dating back to 1913, after manual harvesting they are delicately crushed and destemmed, then fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. The winemaking technique is the traditional one of the submerged cap with maceration in contact with the skins for approximately 25 days. The refinement takes place in large barrels, not first passage, for 3 years, and finally in the bottle. Barbaresco Riserva Rosa delle Casasse boasts a nose reminiscent of withered red petaled flowers, candied berries and sweet spices; in the mouth it is deep and elegant, long and with extremely refined tannins. Ideal with fillet with white truffle from Alba.

From vineyards partly from 1913 and native yeasts, the winemaking takes place with the traditional submerged cap technique. It macerates in contact with the skins for 25 days, followed by maturation for three years in 600-litre untoasted barrels.
Withered roses and violets, red and black berries, tending towards candied fruit, very mineral and with notes of sweet spices.
Elegant like a gala dress, fine with noble tannins. The sip is powerful and deep, fresh, persistent and multifaceted.

Naviglie (CN)
The history of Cascina Baricchi begins in 1979 when Giovanni Simonetta purchased the estate which, at the end of the 1980s, gave birth to the first label.
In 1996 Natale Simonetta, Giovanni’s son, took the reins of the company to which he gave a personal touch.
The hills on which Cascina Baricchi stands are made up of a base of light earth, ideal for the production of high quality and aging wines.
The ideal terroir is completed by the conformation of the morphology of the hills which creates a truly unique microclimate; in particular, the vineyards face south so as to be kissed by the sun for most of the day and undergo, during the night, high temperature changes which allow us to obtain wines with elegant aromas and perfect ripeness of the tannins.
The company’s approach is absolutely respectful of the environment, in fact in the vineyard it prefers to intervene as little as possible, and always in a natural way, to help the plant when it really needs it and make it grow strong; same basic ideology in the cellar, where fermentations are spontaneous.
The wines, depending on the varieties and vintages, are aged in barriques and tonneaux
