Barbaresco Rosa delle Casasse 2014 Nebbiolo 100%
News from Baricchi: Barbaresco Riserva will no longer be produced and it’s time for an upgrade for Rose delle Casasse. In addition to the small vineyard in the municipality of Neive planted in 1913, of the Rosé varietal, the grapes from the Reserve and those from the new Nebbiolo Rosé plants from mass selection will converge here. Winemaking has remained unchanged, with the traditional submerged cap technique. Maceration in contact with the skins for 25 days followed by maturation for three years in 600 liter untoasted barrels. Broad nose, with sweet spices and violets. Finesse. elegance and power come together in a single wine. Deep and multifaceted.
Barbaresco Riserva Rosa delle Casasse 2013 Nebbiolo 100%
From a small vineyard in the municipality of Neive planted in 1913, of the Rosé varietal. Vinified with the traditional submerged cap technique. Macerates in contact with the skins for 25 days. It refines for three years in 600-litre untoasted barrels, before spending the same number in the bottle. Broad nose, with sweet spices and violets. Finesse, elegance and power come together in a single wine. Deep and multifaceted.
Barbaresco Riserva Quattrocianni 2004, Nebbiolo 100%
The wine ages for 5 years in large Slavonian oak barrels and subsequently for 10 years in the bottle. It is the “Great Vintage” of the company, produced only in exceptional years, a full expression of the results that a long refinement on Barbaresco can give. Perfect mix of power and elegance. Very fresh.

The history of Cascina Baricchi begins in 1979 when Giovanni Simonetta purchased the estate which would give birth to the first label at the end of the 1980s.
In 1996 Natale Simonetta, Giovanni’s son, took the reins of the company to which he gave a personal touch.
The hills on which Cascina Baricchi stands are made up of a base of light earth, ideal for the production of high quality and aging wines.
The ideal terroir is completed by the conformation of the morphology of the hills which creates a truly unique microclimate; in particular, the vineyards face south so as to be kissed by the sun for most of the day and undergo, during the night, high temperature changes which allow us to obtain wines with elegant aromas and perfect ripeness of the tannins.
The company’s approach is absolutely respectful of the environment, in fact in the vineyard it prefers to intervene as little as possible, and always in a natural way, to help the plant when it really needs it and make it grow strong; same basic ideology in the cellar, where fermentations are spontaneous.
The wines, depending on the varieties and vintages, are aged in barriques and tonneaux
