Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico is a rosé wine produced by Azienda Agricola Cos in Vittoria, in the province of Ragusa, and obtained from Frappato di Vittoria and Nero d’Avola grapes coming from plots rich in iron and limestone. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aging in Slavonian oak for 2 years.  Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico releases hints of withered red flowers and very ripe berries, with spicy and basically balsamic notes, great minerality that we find in the mouth, it is therefore very tasty, fresh and full-bodied, round tannins and a long finish

The grapes, coming from red and calcareous lands, ferment spontaneously with native yeasts and refine in Slavonian barrels for 2 years

Did you know that COS is the acronym of the initials of the names of the three founders of the company?

They are Titta Cilia, Giusto Occhipinti, Cirino Strano and they gave birth to COS in 1980.

The three inherited (for rent) the old family cellar of Giuseppe Cilia, father of Titta and vineyard.

In these 30 years of experience they have revolutionized Cerasuolo di Vittoria.

They profess the Biodionic “faith” and minimal intervention in the vineyard.

Theirs is also very interesting with the Spanish amphorae purchased now, 20 years ago
