As often happens in the world of wine, as an impulse to the production or consecration of a product, we always find religious orders; Clovis converted to the Christian faith at Christmas 496, and was baptized in Reims by San Remigio, the bishop of the city whose home was surrounded by vineyards.

The link between the County of Champagne and the Crown of France was definitively established with the marriage between Joanna of Navarre and Philip the Fair.

In the following millennium, Champagnes became gifts with which to pay homage to the monarchs visiting the region, loved for their finesse, elegance and taste.

Already in the twelfth century, Champagne was a symbol of luxury and began to cross borders, increasingly in demand.

Symbol of excellence, inevitable guest of honor at Royal weddings over the centuries and at the great universal exhibitions of 1889 and 1900 in Brussels and Paris; over the years, over the centuries, it has confirmed its image as an exceptional wine. It is still a symbol and witness of rare or very important events.
