The Deville Family is famous for being a historic Maison in Verzy, the elective homeland of Pinot Noir in Champagne, precisely 20km from Reims.
Jean Paul, the current generation owner, awaiting his daughter Marie Alice who will one day take the reins, is an eclectic character and when he decided to double down he did it in style.
It does so in Bordeaux, an iconic area for wine, a strip of land with unique characteristics in the world capable of making the great international vines express themselves at their best.
Chateau Deville is the creation of Jean Paul, something he strongly wanted and which can count on 36 hectares of vineyards, near the village of Rions.
The approach is markedly respectful of the nature and biodiversity of the ecosystems of the vineyards, with the aim of bringing to winemaking pure and sincere grapes, treated as little as possible and which are a pure expression of this incredible terroir.
