Regis Bernaleu inherited a small vineyard from his father in 1980. Since then, Chateau Mongravay has never stopped growing, in terms of size and quality.
He invests heavily in modernizing the estate, and now has 9 hectares of vineyards, with specimens up to 30 years old, in a privileged position and very well drained.
The climate is mild with oceanic influences and clay, limestone and sandy soil.
In 2003 his efforts were rewarded with many awards and with the inclusion in the new classification of Bordeaux, as Cru Bourgeois.
