Cirelli Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Anfora 2021

Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Anfora is a red wine produced by Azienda Agricola Cirelli in Atri, Abruzzo, and obtained from 100% Montepulciano grapes harvested manually. Vinified completely in amphora, it first macerates for two weeks with spontaneous fermentation by indigenous yeasts, then it is decanted into another amphora where it ages for 12 months before being bottled. Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Anfora tells of undergrowth, earthy notes and humus, floral and fruity aromas, in the mouth it is fresh and structured, savory and long, to try with grilled sheep

Crushing with the mass which is directly moved into an amphora where it macerates for a month by moistening the cap daily, subsequently the wine is moved to another amphora where it undergoes malolactic fermentation, then bottled

Flowers and red fruits, mineral and humus notes with vegetal hints

Excellent drink thanks to an always important acidity, in balance with its mineral structure, savory and persistent
