Fiano d'Avellino Ciro 906, Fiano 100%
Uniquely from grapes from Summonte, from the first vineyard planted in 1990. It is the last grape to be vinified on the estate. The must cools at 8°C for 24 hours. It ferments in steel and ages for 12 months with frequent batonnages. Nose of white flowers and crazy mineral notes that then turn to smoke, aromatic herbs. Fresh and savoury on the palate, engaging and long.
Irpinia Fiano 2020, Fiano
From young vines, the must cools at 8°C for 24 hours. Fermented in stainless steel and aged with frequent batonnages for 6 months. White flowers, fresh fruit, mineral and herbal notes. Fresh and slender, taut and pleasantly persistent.
Fiano d'Avellino 2020, Fiano 100%
Vinification and subsequent ageing in stainless steel tanks with frequent batonnages for 10/12 months. Nose of white flowers and light-fleshed fruit, with notes of peat, hay and flint. The taste is powerful, fresh and elegant, with great minerality and a persistent finish.

Summonte, Avellino (Irpinia)
Ciro Picariello is now a big name in Irpinia. He vinifies and enhances only indigenous Campanian varieties such as Fiano, Greco and Aglianico, from his 7 hectares of property, of which 5 hectares of white grapes and 2 hectares of red grapes, between Summonte and Montefredane.
Ciro exalts the terroir of Irpinia, in fact the altitude and the consequent cool and windy climate, as well as the great temperature changes, characterise fresh and fragrant wines.
In the cellar, indigenous yeasts and spontaneous fermentation are used, and only stainless steel is used for both vinification and ageing.
