Clos des Treilles, Anjou
It's true that life always has surprises in store. Nicolas Reau, a former rugby player and professional jazz pianist, knows this well. One day he decided to give up everything to study oenology and viticulture in Montreuil and Bordeaux before founding Clos des Treilles in 1999 in Anjou, in the Loire.
The wines he produces are in his own image, at first surly, barely open, then elegant and tasty.
