Provenie da meno di 2 ettari piantati nel 1940. Fermenta e matura in botti da 600 litri dove permane per un anno a contatto con i lieviti, affina 6 mesi in acciaio prima di essere imbottigliato. Crema pasticcera, erbe aromatiche ed agrumi. Incredibile freschezza,mineralità e ritorni agrumati. Finale lungo

Da uve appassite vendemmiate fra Novembre e Dicembre che creano un’alta concentrazione zuccherina delle uve che protrae la fermentazione fino a 18 mesi. Sentori alla “Torta della Nonna”, Fragranti e con ritorni di Mela, Burro fuso e Miele. Burroso l’assaggio seppur con una eccellente spalla acida a bilanciare la struttura. We are located in Jurançon, practically Pau, and therefore very close to the Pyrenees. The estate covers 17 hectares, all organically farmed, with an annual production of around 60,000 bottles.
Initially a farm for rearing cattle, producing fruit and vegetables and producing grapes for sale to the local cooperative, Clos Lapeyre became a real winery in 1985.
