Chablis Premier Cru Les Fourneaux is a great white wine from Colette Gros in Fleys, Chablis, Burgundy. It is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, which are vinified in steel; ageing lasts 4/6 months in large barrels, and finally in the bottle for 9 months. It is an exceptional Chablis with hints of slate and flint on the nose, flowers and fresh fruit, while in the mouth it surprises with its elegance and depth of drinkability. 🛁 Harvested by hand, it is vinified in temperature-controlled steel. Matured in large barrels for 4/6 months, then bottled for at least another 9 months

Fleys, Chablis

We are located in the tiny town of Fleys, in the magical area of Chablis, North West of Burgundy, and is considered, along with the Cote de Beaune, the home of Chardonnay who can express himself here at the highest level.

Here stands Domaine Colette Gros, an 18-hectare farm (of which 6 are classified as Premier Cru Chablis) managed by the Gautheron family, Chablis vignerons for five generations, with Alain to hold the reins of the company firmly in his hands, together with his wife and young son Cyril.

The approach to viticulture takes place in full respect of 'environment and biodiversity, you get to collect on time, vintage after vintage, healthy grapes, genuine, rich and concentrated!
In the winery, before vinification, a strict selection process is carried out, after which the grapes are destemmed, pressed and left to ferment in steel tanks at a controlled temperature.

The wine remains in contact with its lees for at least nine months, is then filtered and bottled.
