🛁 The grapes are harvested by hand, fermented spontaneously in stainless steel without maceration on the skins, aged in stainless steel for a few months and finally bottled without the addition of sulphur dioxide

Within the protected area SCI Fosso delle Farfalle Vincenzo Di Meo runs Controvento, a 16,000-bottle per year estate from just 5 hectares of vineyards.
The company is certified organic but is biodynamic in its practices; the vineyards are located a few kilometres from the sea, benefiting from the breezes. No chemicals are used in the vineyard as well as in the cellar, where even the addition of pre-bottling sulphur is not allowed.
In Vincenzo's idea, which we fully share, healthy grapes simply require healthy soil and preserved biodiversity.
The grapes grown are those typical of the area, Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Passerina and Fiano, as well as the international Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wines of Controvento exude love and passion, character and Abruzzese grit.
