Rackham 2019, Folle Noir 100%

Storia interessante quella del Folle Noir, vitigno che nasce dall’incrocio tra il Folle Blanche (Originario dello Jurancon) ed Malbec. Proviene da una vigna di mezz’ettaro situata su terreni argilloso calcarei. Viene vinificato in acciaio, poi fermenta sulle bucce per circa 3 settimane. Rosa e Viola, Lampone e Ciliegia, Fragola e Susina, speziato e minerale. Fresco e beverino, il corpo è snello, così come il tannino, il sorso minerale e persistente

Cazottes started out as a distillery, world-famous for the quality and purity of its products.

Only pears, plums and cherries from organically or biodynamically managed orchards, or indigenous and unobtainable grape varieties from Gascony, such as Mauzac Rosé, are used for distillation.
