Red fruits in jam and in alcohol, undergrowth and balsamic notes, hints of stone and liquorice

Very elegant and with a very long finish, the sip is warm and powerful, the tannins silky

Gevrey Chambertin, Burgundy

Domaine Rebourseau is located in the center of Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits. It was General Henri
Rebourseau in 1919 to group together all the family vineyards, bringing them together in a single company and thus giving rise to the current Rebourseau property.

In 1949 his son Pierre became part of the management and in 1980 he entrusted the company to his nephew, Mr. Jean de Surrel. Jean gives a turning point to the history of the estate by adopting thoughtful, organic viticulture associated with biodynamic practices.

The company owns 13 hectares of “Pinot Noir” which ensure a production of authentic representative quality
of its own denominations among the most prestigious in Burgundy: Chambertin Grand Cru, Mazy Chambertin Grand Cru, Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru; furthermore the company owns 2.3 hectares in the heart of Grand Cru Clos De Vougeot.

The wines obtained are of great finesse and are considered among the longest-lived in Burgundy.
