Very often we are led to think that if a wine does not come from a well-known country that floods us with hectolitres every year, then that wine will be poorly developed in technical terms and less valuable in absolute terms.

In fact, Eastern Europe as a geographical area includes many countries, Greece, Romania, Moldova, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Georgia and Bulgaria, and in each of them the vine arrived thousands and thousands of years ago.

In Moldavia, Bulgaria and Georgia, the vine was widely present in pre-Roman times; in the other countries, it was the Romans and Greeks who exported viticulture and the care of its fruit.

Here, wine has always been produced in a traditional, natural way without chemicals in the vineyard.
