Etruscaia was born in 2008 with the decision to allocate
to commercial activity the fruits of many years of work
amateur in the production of wine grapes and in
selective vinification aimed at the pursuit of excellence
in the production of obtainable white, red and rosé wines
from the various vines present in their lands.
The Etruscaia vineyards, in fact, were born from a project
experimental created in collaboration with
the University of Pisa which planted various clones of
wine grapes, both white and red, and analyzed the
individual specificities of each clone both in yield
vegetative and in subsequent vinification.
The lush harvest of 2004 dictated
unequivocal evidence of the extraordinary potential of
land both for production capacity and for high
quality of oenological yield of some of the planted vines.
