Etruscaia was founded in 2008 with the decision to allocate
to commercial activity the fruits of many years of work
amateur in the production of wine grapes and the
selective winemaking in pursuit of excellence
in the production of white, red and rosé wines obtainable
from the various grape varieties present in their soils.
The Etruscaia vineyards, in fact, were born from a project
experimental realised in collaboration with
the University of Pisa who had various clones of
wine grapes, both white and red, and analysed the
individual specificities of each clone both in yield
vegetation than in the subsequent vinification.
The lush harvest of the year 2004 said
unequivocal evidence of the extraordinary potential of the
land both for production capacity and high
oenological yield quality of some of the vines planted.
