Fleurie Spaciale 2022 Magnum Chateau de Grand Prè

Fleurie Spaciale is a red wine produced by Chateau de Grand Prè in Villiè Morgon in Beaujolais, and obtained from pure Gamay grapes, harvested manually and coming from vines over 70 years old , on granitic and sandy soil. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and macerations for approximately 3 weeks, aging for 9 months in demi muids. Fleurie Spaciale tends towards balsamic on the nose with hints of berries, florals and minerals. In the mouth it is soft and tasty, fresh and full-bodied. Try it with stuffed Roman white pizza

The grapes come from plants between 60 and 70 years old positioned on sandy and granitic soil with exposure to the South, South-East. The harvest is carried out manually, the fermentation is spontaneous with native yeasts, the wine macerates for 20 days and then matures for 9 months in demi-muids, 600 liter barrels.

Red flowers and berries, raspberry, morello cherry and cherry with herbaceous and balsamic notes

Full and soft, interesting but not intrusive tannic texture, fresh and tasty

The company is in Provence but part of the vineyards, those that interest us, are located between Fleurie and Villié Morgon, certified organic since 2012.
