Jean started the family business in 1982 after he bought a house on the famous Cote du Py, an extinct volcano with unique characteristics.
Morgon is one of the 10 Cru of Beaujolais, on the west bank of the Seine.
He immediately revolutionized the company by breaking away from the stereotype of Beaujolais, which was on the market in those years and which was produced by his colleagues. Over the years Foillard has become a reference point in the world of the production of these wines.
