Hanging Delta Riesling 2017
The fruits were picked by hand and whole bunch pressed. The fermentation was started with the classic pied de cuve method, that is, with the addition of a small quantity of fermenting wine from another tank to the must instead of the inoculation of cultivated yeast. Fermentation lasted five weeks, and was stopped by cooling when the wine contained significant residual sugar. Using the pied de cuve fermentation method creates a more complex wine with subtle fruit aromas. In the mouth, the unctuous sweetness is balanced by lively acidity. Wines produced in this style can be aged for 20 years.
Traminette 2019
Traminette is a cross between Gewurztraminer and Chambourcin (Joannes-Seyve 23.416), the latter French-American hybrid created by Joannes Seyve.
This relatively new grape displays aromas of fresh fruit salad, along with notes of exotic tropical fruit. It is recommended to serve this wine slightly chilled as an aperitif.
Chardonnay Can 375 ml
This unoaked Chardonnay displays the subtle aromas of melon, lemon and white nectarine characteristic of Fox Run Vineyards. In the mouth this wine reveals its fresh climate of origin: on the palate it is creamy, but not leaden, due to its bright acidity and moderate alcohol. It’s fresh and full of flavor, with no distracting oak flavors. Now in a can! Travel easy for all your favorite excursions. Boating, biking, hiking, sitting poolside/beach, picnicking, you name it! Particularly suitable for those who don’t want to open an entire bottle of wine.
Seneca Lake (Finger Lake, NY)
Fox Run Vineyards is a family-run winery, founded in 1989, with the aim of producing sustainable, genuine and affordable wine for everyone. A significant aspect for the company is the wine production respecting the lake’s ecosystem also through its sustainability, thanks to the solar panels they have. Here we produce Riesling, Traminette, Chardonnay (also in cans), Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Lemberger (practically the twin of Blaufränkisch)
