Terelle, Lazio
Fra i Monti is a company in the province of Frosinone, Lazio, and is located at an altitude of over 1,000 metres above sea level. All around are chestnut woods.
It is a project aimed at recovering old abandoned vineyards and producing natural wines that are the children of the vineyard, even before the winery.
The winery concept is absolutely biodynamic, no use of chemicals in the vineyard and minimal intervention in the cellar with long ageing in amphora.
Maturano, an absolutely indigenous grape, and Semillon, an adopted son of this land imported during the Napoleonic era, are bred here.
