Vin de Frantz Rosè is a rosé wine obtained from Gamay and Grolleau grapes produced by Frantz Saumon in MontLouis, in the Loire Valley. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and 24-hour maceration. Vinification and aging take place in 450 liter barrels. Vin de Frantz Rosè on the nose it recalls aromas of forest and wild herbs, flowers and red fruits, while in the mouth it is fresh and aromatic, savory and dynamic, to try with red prawns

  24 hour decanting and pressing, vinified in 450 liter tonneaux with aging in wood on the yeasts for at least 6 months.

Flowers and red fruits, we are in the heart of the woods, almost forest and wild herbs, very mineral and slightly spicy

Fresh and slightly aromatic, lean and tasty, well-mannered tannins and a noteworthy finish

Serving temperature 10°-12°

Before embarking on his winemaking career in 2001, Frantz worked as a forest ranger in Canada and France.

Then, as mentioned, in 2001, he was struck on the road to MontLouis and decided to buy a small plot of 3 hectares of vineyard.

Since then Frantz has established himself as one of the best producers in the entire Loire, doubling the hectares of his property, now 6 and significantly refining the production technique, now truly enviable but still with a natural and scarcely interventionist approach.
