Vin de Frantz Rosé is a rosé wine made from Gamay and Grolleau grapes produced by Frantz Saumon in MontLouis, in the Loire Valley. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and 24-hour maceration. Vinification and ageing take place in 450-litre barrels. Before embarking on his wine career in 2001, Frantz worked as a forest ranger in Canada and France.
Then, as we said, in 2001, came the thunderbolt on the road to MontLouis and decided to buy a small plot of 3 hectares of vines.
Since then, Frantz has established himself as one of the best producers in the Loire region, doubling the number of hectares on his estate, now 6, and significantly refining his production technique, which is now truly enviable, but still with a natural, non-interventionist approach.
