Gentle Folk Vin de Sofa 2021

Vin de Sofa is a red wine produced by Gentle Folk in Adelaide Hills, Australia and made from Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Gewürztraminer grapes. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration of the grapes together for 5 weeks. Maturation then lasts 4 months. Very fragrant on the nose, fresh and juicy on the palate. It is striking for its drinkability and for the age of the vines from which it is made, almost a hundred years old. It is perfect with grilled meat.

🛁 From vines up to 90 years old located at an altitude of 600 metres on calcareous clay soil, the grapes ferment spontaneously together with indigenous yeasts and whole bunches, maceration is 5 weeks. Maturation in steel for at least 4 months.

👃🏻 Lots of ripe berries on the nose with floral and herbal returns, balsamic and mineral

👅 Fresh and juicy, with good body and extremely gentle tannins, long and slightly aromatic

👍🏻 Serving temperature 16°-18°.
