I Bianchi d'Austria 3 Bottles
Digital data sheets sent by email
Austria's wine history goes back a long way, to around 500 B.C., at the time and thanks to the Celts.
Production was continued by the Romans, especially in the south-eastern part of what is now Austria, before being brought to an abrupt halt by the barbarian invasions; it was only thanks to Charlemagne and the work of the monks that viticulture was able to take off again.
In spite of its small size, Austria is the 18th largest producer in the world, distinguished by full-bodied, alcoholic and dry wines.
We especially like to remember the great commitment to biodynamic viticulture, and the creation of some of the best Pet Nats that the entire Apewineboxes tasting team can remember.
