Emilia Romagna with its approximately 60,000 hectares of vineyards and a monstrous production of almost 7 million hectoliters is certainly one of the largest Italian wine areas and in the vast majority of cases production takes place in the plains.

It is a land that in our opinion stands out for the ease of drinking its wines, very often sparkling and suitable for any moment of the meal.

Lambrusco is the symbolic vine of the region, even developed by Pliny the Elder, and it seems that its name derives from Vitis Labrusca, a robust and wild species of vine that has also been found in North America.

What is certain, following archaeological findings, is that in the seventh century BC. viticulture was already practiced.
